Vehicle runs into house in Randolph County

RANDOLPH COUNTY,Ind. (WISH) – A vehicle ended up in the bedroom of a Randolph County couple after slamming into a house.

According to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department, just after 3 a.m., Ralph David Mills lost control of his 2002 Jeep. The Jeep began veering off the road and then struck the home of Stephen and Deb Holliday.

The 2002 Jeep stopped just feet short of the bed where the Hollidays were sleeping at the time.

Stephen and Deb Holliday were transported to Saint Vincet-Randolph Hospital for injuries sustained from debris.

Mills was taken to I.U. Ball Memorial Hospital with injuries.

The extent of the injuries and the conditions of Mills and the Hollidays has not been released.

Police believe alcohol was a contributing factor in the incident.

Police are still investigating.
