INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – On Feb. 17, 1992, police were dispatched to a business in Carmel, Ind. They found Edgar Isenberg, lying on the floor in a large pool of blood.

The business was closed for the evening, but Isenberg told the police officers that there were two black males still inside.

Officers checked the building, but no one was ever found.

Isenberg passed away from a head injury. It appeared that a safe door had been dropped on his head.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public for help solving this cold case.
