COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) – Samuel E. Sallee, the suspect charged with a quadruple homicide nearly two years ago may testify in his own defense during his trial Tuesday morning.
According to 24-Hour New’s 8’s partners at The Republic, opening statements are expected to begin shortly after the jury convenes at 8:30 a.m. in Bartholomew Circuit Court.
Sallee faces four counts of murder in the deaths of Katheryn Burton, Thomas Smith, Aaron Cross and Shawn Burton in a house on East Main Cross Street in Waynesville.
They were killed May 11 in what investigators have said they believe was a drug-related quadruple homicide.
