Parke County man guilty on child molestation charges
PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – A Marshall, Ind. man was found guilty Wednesday for multiple charges including attempted child molesting and sexual misconduct with a minor.
Deryk Scott Hutton, 27 of Marshall, was arrested in July of 2013 after an investigation by the Parke County Sheriff’s Office and Child Protective Services.
WISH-TV sister station WTHI News reported that Hutton was found guilty of attempted child molesting, two counts of child molesting and two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor.
There was a two day trial in the Parke County Circuit Court.
Hutton’s sentencing is set for Mar. 17.
