Columbus police arrest seven on preliminary drug charges

COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) – Columbus police received multiple complaints of suspicious activity at 1603 Cottage Ave. and were investigating the building.

Police stopped a vehicle leaving the business when a canine unit alerted police to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle.

Adena E. Reeves, 30 and Stacy A. Southern, 51 both from Columbus, were in the vehicle and taken into custody on preliminary drug charges.

Officers served a warrant on the building and arrested five individuals.

Jason I. Brown, 39, Brittany E. Johnson, 28, Raymond L. Anderson, 31, Laura L. Hines, 35, and Ian M. Colson, 33 were taken into custody on preliminary drug charges.
