Madame Walker Theatre hosts SkinnyGirl founder Bethenny Frankel
The Madame CJ Walker Theatre Center is hosting the wildy successful and incredibly witty Bethenny Frankel on Monday as part of their 2015 Women’s Month/Madame Walker Day Celebration. The event is aimed at empowering women and is also a vehicle for us to raise much needed dollars to advance our mission of using art as platform to empower youth, inspire entrepreneurship, and generate social justice. Frankel has lead an impressive career as an entrepreneur, which is why The Walker invited her to speak as part of its Women’s Month/Madame Walker Day Celebration.
When we where thinking about entrepreneurs to bring in honor of Women’s Month, which is March, we wanted to think outside the box. We wanted to make sure we were inclusive of different cultures and different products and Bethenny Frankel’s name came up.
