INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Paul George went through his first full practice with the Pacers on Thursday, for the first time since his leg injury.
George had been shooting previously, which was the first step in the recovery process.
There’s no set timetable for when George will return to the court.
George previously said he wanted to play mid-March. Coach Frank Vogel said he’s a ways away from playing — they’re cautiously optimistic though that it will be this season.
“He’s just taking a step,” Vogel said about George at practice. “Nothing more. I’m hopeful [he plays this season] but a lot has to happen before then.”
After practice, George spoke about getting back on the court.
“It felt good. It felt really good,” he said. “I see the old PG coming back.”
