WHITE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — Both southbound lanes of Interstate 65 near mile-marker 193 in White County have been closed due to multiple crashes, Indiana State Police has confirmed.
ISP said there are at least 4 semitrailers involved in the crash. Authorities said local fire departments have been called in to the scene due to oil and/or gas leaking onto the interstate.
Police are redirecting I-65 traffic onto U.S. 231 until the scene can be cleared, reported WISH-TV sister station WLFI News.
Law enforcement said one minor injury has been reported. It’s unclear at this time if there are more injuries associated with the crashes.
