WARSAW, Ind. (WANE) A man who police asked the public last week for help finding was captured early Friday morning.

Matthew Scott Boggs, 41, was taken into custody shortly before 2 a.m. in the Barbee Lake are south of North Webster in Kosciusko County.

Boggs had been wanted on several charges and pending court cases including stalking, forgery, theft, invasion of privacy and possession of methamphetamine according to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.

Police issued a news release to media outlets on February 21 asking for the public’s help in finding Boggs and it was tips from residents that led sheriff’s deputies to him.
