INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Some members of 24-Hour News 8 spent their lunch hour in a bowling alley on Friday.

They were part of an annual charity bowling event put on by 1070 The Fan.

The WISH team was playing for JMV. Kylie Conway, Amanda Maynard, Chris Widlic and Scott Sander rounded out the team.

They were raising money for the Indianapolis Police Foundation, which raises awareness and support for Indianapolis law enforcement officers and their families impacted by a traumatic injury.

“This is kind of a cool chance for all of us to kind of to hang out together and we use the #dishtodogood. And I think we did some of that today,” Greg Rackestraw from 1070 The Fan said.

The WISH team didn’t win, but the police foundation still raised money.

Their current project is home for a hero, benefiting Santos Cortez. Cortez was paralyzed after being hit by a drunk driver.
