Weekend mix of rain, snow expected in Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indiana is preparing for another weekend weather event.

According to  Storm Track 8 meteorologist Eboni Deon, the weekend should start dry and cold with temperatures in the 20s. However, late Saturday clouds will increase causing showers to develop across the southern part of Indiana, eventually pushing north into Indy during the overnight hours and early Sunday.

Temperatures are expected to be in the mid 30s causing for a snow/rain mix that will change over to rain. To the north of Indy Storm Track 8 says expect to see 3-6 inches, while just south of the metro could get 1-3 inches.
