Butler gears up for Senior Night; Chrabascz eyes return

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Butler forward Andrew Chrabascz may return to the lineup Tuesday night when Butler hosts Georgetown, according to Butler head coach Chris Holtmann on Monday afternoon.

The sophomore was scheduled to practice on Monday for the first time since breaking his hand on Feb. 14.  The coaching staff will decide whether or not he’ll play on Tuesday morning.

Tuesday also marks senior night for Butler.  The team will honor Kam Woods, Jackson Aldridge and Alex Barlow.

It has been a unique road for Barlow who started his career as a walk-on.

“All I really wanted was a chance to play, and when I met with Coach Stevens, he reiterated that.  I’d have a chance to earn minutes, and if I was good enough to earn minutes I would,” said Barlow, reflecting on his decision to attend Butler.

Head coach Chris Holtmann shared in Barlow’s success on the team.

“One Division Two scholarship offer coming out of high school, and he’s been the starting point guard for a Big East program the last two years,” said Holtmann.  “It just says a lot about him.”
