Man tied to Chicago kidnapping arrested in Indiana

LOGANSPORT, Ind. (WLFI) – A man who police say is connected to a kidnapping in Chicago has been arrested in Logansport.

Ernesto Posadas, 20, was arrested early Thursday morning by Logansport officers in the 1200 block of Erie Avenue. As of Tuesday night, he was in the Cass County Jail on a warrant for aggravated kidnapping.

Meanwhile, in Illinois, Cook County deputies arrested 33-year-old Jesus Salazar about 48 hours earlier on Feb. 23 in Chicago. He’s also wanted on a warrant for aggravated kidnapping.

Investigators believe Salazar is connected with the kidnapping of an adult in early December which has since been safely returned.
