Passengers tweet pics of plane off LaGuardia runway
NEW YORK (MEDIA GENERAL/AP) – Passengers took to Twitter to upload pictures and messages after a plane skidded off a runway at LaGuardia Airport in New York. Officials say several people aboard the plane from Atlanta were hurt. Their injuries aren’t life threatening.

The plane crashed through a chain-link fence and sent passengers saddled with bags and bundled up in heavy coats and scarves sliding down an inflated chute to safety on the snowy pavement. Delta Flight 1086 was carrying 125 passengers and five crew members.
