6 arrested after separate meth lab busts

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Six people are facing a multitude of drug charges following separate methamphetamine lab busts Thursday, according to WISH-TV sister station WANE News.POPLAR STREET BUST

According to FWPD Sergeant Mark Brooks, members of the police department’s Emergency Services Team and Vice and Narcotics Division served a search warrant at a home in the 800 block of Poplar Street at 8 p.m. Inside, detectives found an active meth lab.

The lab was neutralized by the FWPD Meth Suppression Unit and the Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Unit.

Three people were charged:

Manual Martinez, 32 was arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of two or more precursors, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, neglect of a dependent, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.

Jonelle Miller, 28 was arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of two more precursors, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, neglect of a dependent, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.

Also arrested was Gary Maple, 45 on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of two or precursors, possession of methamphetamine, and maintaining a common nuisance.

No other information was available early Friday morning.QUALITY INN BUST

Around 3 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to a meth bust at the Quality Inn, 1734 West Washington Center Road. The lab was safely quarantined by the FWPD Meth Suppression Unit.

Three people were charged.

Timothy Eckelbarger, 47 was arrested on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of two or more precursors, and possession of paraphernalia.

Melinda Zerbe, 44 was arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of two or more precursors, possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, and maintaining a common nuisance.

Micheele Coppess, 26 is facing charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of two or more precursors, and possession or paraphernalia.

No other details were released Friday morning.
