Two time Olympian encourages local youth
GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) – Fans stood in line on Sunday to meet one of the biggest names in women’s sports.
Olympic softball pitcher Jennie Finch, took pictures and signed hundreds of autographs at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Greenwood.
The California native tweeted to her fans to let them know she would be in Indiana on Sunday.
Finch is a two-time Olympian who won a gold medal as a pitcher.
According to her website, she hosts softball camps across the country and has an academy in New Jersey.
