HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – None of the 42 students aboard a school bus were injured in an accident on Monday morning.

Indiana State Police (ISP) reported that Hamilton Southeastern School Bus #178 was stopped on westbound 106th Street, east of Allisonville Road, at approximately 7:15 a.m., when a grey 2007 Buick hit the back of the bus.

The car reportedly slid on an icy spot before rear-ending the bus, according to reports.

The bus had little damage where the car hit it, and the school children remained on the bus throughout the aftermath, police say.

Afterward, police reported that the bus went on to take the students to school.

The Buick was towed away from the accident scene, according to reports.
