Colts sign Mike Adams to extension

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Colts and safety Mike Adams have agreed to a contract extension.

The 33-year-old defensive back was named to his first Pro Bowl in 2014. He led the Colts with five interceptions. Those five interceptions were tied for third-best in the league. He started all 16 games for the Colts last season.

Adams started his career with the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Delaware in 2004. Adams spent three seasons with San Francisco.

Adams has also played for Cleveland and Denver.
