IMPD: Suspect shot man, threatened witness

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police are looking for the person who they say shot and man and threatened to shoot someone else late Tuesday night.

Officials with IMPD say it happened around 11 p.m. on Roache Street near Harding Street on the west side of Indianapolis.

Officers say the man was shot in the hip. He’s expected to be OK.

According to police, a passerby witnessed the shooting. The gunman pointed his weapon at the witness before taking off.
