One killed in early morning incident

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One person was killed in an incident just after 1:30 Sunday morning.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was dispatched to the intersection of West Roache Street and Burton Avenue.

According to police, a male victim was found who had been attacked in the head and the back.

Christopher Baymon, 41, of Indianapolis was pronounced dead by crews at the scene. A cause of death has not yet been determined
