ISP: Greenfield man arrested for rape, sexual battery

HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – A Greenfield man turned himself in on March 12, after a month-long investigation by Indiana State Police and Greenfield Police.

Johnathan Bean, 26, of Greenfield, was taken into custody Thursday afternoon at the Hancock County Jail, after being served an arrest warrant in connection to a February rape.

ISP started investigating the rape in February after Greenfield Police reported that Bean provided alcohol and committed rape and sexual battery to an 18-year-old Greenfield woman at his home.

The Hancock Circuit Court has charged him with one count of Felony 3 rape, one count of Felony 6 sexual battery and one count of Class B misdemeanor furnishing alcohol to a minor.
