Pike Township police officer pleads guilty

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A Pike Township police officer has pleaded guilty to misdemeanor criminal recklessness and operating while intoxicated with endangerment charges, the Marion County prosecutor’s confirmed.

Brian Hedger was pulled over after police clocked him driving 113 mph in a 55 mph zone.

Hedger was sentenced to a year, but all but two days of the sentence were suspended and will be served on probation. His license was suspended for a month and he’s required to complete a substance abuse evaluation. Any treatment recommendations that come out of the evaluation will also be required.
