Police: Masked man robbed Franklin Circle K

FRANKLIN, Ind. (WISH) – Police in Franklin are looking for the person they say robbed a local business Monday night.

Officers responded to the Circle K Mobile Convenience Store, located at 349 North U.S. Hwy. 31, shortly before 10 p.m. on the report of a robbery.

The attendant told police a light-skinned male dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt and black ski mask walked in, approached the register, and demanded money. The suspect kept his hands in the pocket of his hooded sweatshirt, so police say it’s unclear if he was armed.

The suspect took off with an unknown amount of cash. Police believe the man may have gotten into a vehicle at a nearby alley and left the area.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Sergeant John Borges at (317) 346-1142.  Those wishing to remain anonymous can use the Franklin Police Tip Line by calling (317) 346-1100.
