Pence, RFRA topics of ‘Late Night Show’ segment

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indiana Gov. Mike Pence had a full segment dedicated to him on the Late Night Show with Seth Meyers Monday night after appearing on ABC’s This Week Sunday to clarify the Religious Freedom Restoration Act.

“No one is better at playing ‘Yes,’ ‘No,’ or ‘George’ than Governor Mike Pence,” Seth Meyers said, after clips from Pence’s interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos were played back. “Thanks to Pence, Indiana also passed a law that on the SATs you can answer ‘True’, ‘False,’ or ‘Linda.’”

Meyers was referring to Pence being unable to answer a question during that interview. Even when asked several times directly, the governor deferred to answer by addressing Stephanopoulos by his first name.

Meyers went on to criticize how broad the law is, and mention the businesses protesting against the law, making a joke about Indiana getting a bad review on Yelp.
