Firefighters called to Greencastle church fire
GREENCASTLE, Ind. (WISH) – Firefighters were on the scene early Wednesday morning of a church fire in Putnam County.
It happened at the Immanuel Baptist Church, located at 9 Houck Road, in Greencastle.
Officials with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department said the fire started around 5 a.m. They said around 6 a.m. that no injuries had been reported.
The Greencastle Fire Department was on scene. It’s unclear what caused the fire or how much damage was done to the building.
