Man found guilty in Waynesville quad murder to be sentenced

BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Thursday afternoon, a judge is scheduled to sentence the Bartholomew County man convicted of killing four people.

In February, a jury found Samuel Sallee guilty of killing a woman and three men at a home in Waynesville near Columbus, two years ago. Police believe Sallee killed them during a drug deal.

In an interview with 24-Hour News 8, Sallee said he didn’t commit the murders.

“The evidence against me was created,” Sallee said. “They didn’t have no evidence against me. They created evidence.”

Sallee will not receive the death penalty, but could get life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Thursday’s sentencing starts at 2:30 p.m.
