Man led away in cuffs after north side drug investigation

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The DEA released new details Friday afternoon about the overnight drug bust where they also found several stolen guns with scratched off serial numbers.

Prior convicted felon Aaron Dumas was picked up from his home in Indianapolis and is now sitting in the Marion County Jail.

A few local departments helped close in on Dumas, including IMPD.

The Hendricks County Sheriff Department says several charges were submitted Friday morning. The 35-year-old could face possession of stolen fire arms, heroin and selling heroin charges.

Dumas’s family declined to comment about the incident

The Marion County Prosecutors Office is expected to review all the charges submitted next week.
