Bee Public about Earth Day

Bees are disappearing from the urban landscape at an alarming rate. They are a vital link in our sustainable food chain and one in every three bites of food we eat was made possible by a bee. Bee Public is championing the cause here in Indianapolis to help reintroduce healthy, happy bees and will be conducting a workshop at this year’s Earth Day Festival.

Since about 2006 this phenomenon called Colony Collapse Disorder has been all over the headlines because bees are dying at an alarming rate…bees are super important to anyone who likes food.”  Kate Franzman, Bee Public

Bee Public focuses on the honeybees and is fostering them in Indiana.
