Cummins breaks ground on new distribution headquarters
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis skyline will have a new addition next year.
A groundbreaking ceremony Thursday morning made way for a new building coming to the former site of Market Square Arena.
Cummins is building a new distribution headquarters at New Jersey and Market streets, across from City Market.
Several city and state leaders were there Thursday morning including Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard and Senators Joe Donnelly and Dan Coats.
The tower is also expected to include space for retailers. It’s set to open late next year.
