Popular hummus brand recalled over listeria concern

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Hummus sold in stores across the country is under recall because health officials say it could be contaminated with listeria.

The Food and Drug Administration says 30,000 cases of Sabra Classic Hummus may be affected.

Health inspectors in Michigan say they discovered the possible contamination after a routine inspection at a Kroger in Port Huron.

There are no reports of anyone getting sick from the hummus.

The recall comes one day after Blue Bell recalled another ice cream flavor linked to a listeria outbreak.
