INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Just before noon on Monday, troopers with the Indiana State Police arrested a passenger on board a Megabus that had crashed earlier that morning.

Officers say the man was arrested on a second Megabus headed away from the earlier Megabus crash scene. Troopers say they and Michigan authorities were tracking a wanted suspect when the bus crashed.

Officers were tracking the suspect and found him on a second Megabus headed northbound, away from the initial crash location. Troopers pulled over the second Megabus on northbound I-65 near the Marion/Johnson county line.

ISP officials said the man was wanted on arrest warrants for attempted murder and intent to do bodily harm charges. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
