IMPD helps teen ask date to prom

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Prom season is in the air and finding the right dress or the right date is just one of the challenges that comes with going to the big dance.

Prom proposals are getting more creative and one Indianapolis teen asked for a little help from Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers.

IMPD posted a video of the prom proposal on their Facebook page. The officers pretended to pull over the girl, but when she got out of the car the boy was holding a sign asking her to go to prom with him.
