FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)  A three-month-long undercover investigation by the Indiana State Police led to the arrest of a Fort Wayne man Wednesday morning on eight felony counts of child exploitation.

According to police, the investigation looked into peer-to-peer file sharing via the Internet being done by Erik Leigh Hayden, 19, of Fort Wayne.  Officers with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force executed a search warrant at Hayden’s home and took him into custody.

The task force is made up of the Indiana State Police, Fort Wayne Police Department and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
