Charges filed after child suffers severe head injuries
TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – A child’s life-threatening injuries result in criminal charges for a Lebanon man.
According to 24-Hour News 8 partner station, WLFI, Timothy Grissom, 22, was arrested in December after an 18-month-old was brought into a hospital in Lafayette. Doctors found a severe head injury and airlifted the child to Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.
About two months later, doctors told investigators the child’s injuries were a result of violent force and they believed the child would never fully recover.
Grissom faces several charges, including neglect of a dependent resulting in serious bodily injury and battery on a child.
