FRANKLIN, Ind. (WISH) — Eight different vehicles were involved in a crash Sunday afternoon in Johnson County, as traffic backed up for another crash.

There was a crash in the northbound lanes of I-65 between the Edinburgh and Franklin exits when traffic began trying to stop to avoid the accident scene. With rainy conditions, cars struggled to stop, colliding with each other. The eight-vehicle crash happened around 4:30 p.m.

The involved vehicles were a Suburban, an Altima, a Lexus, a Pontiac Grand AM, a Chrysler Minivan, a Ford F-150 pickup, a Chevrolet Equinox and a Chevrolet Aveo.

Despite all the vehicles involved, only one person was injured. The driver of the Aveo suffered a broken arm.
