Bargersville barn consumed by fire

BARGERSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — No one was hurt early Monday morning at the scene of a barn fire in Johnson County.

It happened in the 3200 block of State Road 135 in Bargersville. The Bargersville Community Fire Department was called to the scene just before 1 a.m.

When firefighters arrived, they found the structure fully engulfed in flames. No animals were in the barn, officials say.

Fire departments from Trafalgar, Franklin, Whiteland, New Whiteland and White River Township helped fight the fire.

It’s unclear what sparked the flames.
