Police: child on I-74 was sleepwalking

SHELBY COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Officials say a boy found on the side of the interstate Saturday night was sleepwalking.

According to Major Louis Cook, the boy left his family’s car while his parents were changing a tire at a gas station near Pleasant View Road and I-74 in Shelby County.

A passerby noticed the boy on the side the interstate and called police.

No charges will be filed in the case.

The boy was treated for minor scrapes on the scene.
