Westbound I-70 reopens in Hancock Co.

GREENFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — A crash involving multiple vehicles prompted the closure of westbound Interstate 70 in Hancock County Monday morning, police dispatchers said.

At least one person was taken to a hospital with injuries, but details weren’t available.

The crash was near the 109 mile marker, which is about 5 miles east of the State Road 9 exit.

Westbound lanes have since reopened.
