Puppy quarantined after biting Columbus boy

COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) – A puppy has been quarantined after officials in Columbus said it bit a boy.

The 11-year-old boy required four stitches in his leg after the bite, which happened at Mead Village Park, 24-Hour News 8’s news partner, The Republic, reports. The boy was pushing his sister on a swing when the dog ran at him, the boy’s grandfather said.

The 6-month-old pit bull mixed breed dog must stay at its home for 10 days as a result of the incident.
