Accused teenage murderer extradited back to Wisconsin

BOONE COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — A Boone County teen accused of murdering her mother and stepfather has been extradited back to Wisconsin.

Ashlee Martinson, 17, was arrested in Boone County in early March. She was released from the jail Thursday.

Court documents indicate Ashlee Martinson, who just turned 17 years old on Friday, killed Jennifer Ayers and Thomas Ayers. Jennifer was her mother and Thomas was her step-father. There were three children in the Wisconsin home at the time of the killings, and one of them told police she saw Thomas Ayers dead.

Martinson put the three children – ages 2, 8 and 9 – in a bedroom with juice and food before tying the door shut with a rope, according to court documents.

She then started driving south, and police eventually took her into custody in Boone County, Indiana. When Martinson was taken into custody, her boyfriend Ryan Sisco, 22, was also held.
