INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man accused of killing a woman and putting her body in a wooden chest was found guilty on Wednesday.
According to court documents, Trammell died from multiple stab wounds. Wade was identified as the suspect when his phone number was found as one of the last numbers with whom Trammell communicated on the morning she went missing.
Police say Wade lived near the location where the wooden chest was found. A blood sample from inside of his apartment matched Trammell’s.
A sentencing hearing is scheduled for May 1 at 2 p.m.
