Carmel Marathon winner talks race preparation

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – This time of year runners in Indianapolis and the surrounding area stay pretty busy.

Thousands recently completed the Carmel Marathon  and soon hundreds of runners will flood downtown Indy as they complete the nation’s largest mini marathon.

Jesse Davis, the winner of all five of the Carmel Marathons, stopped by and talked about a whole host of subjects.

He discussed how to prepare for a long-distance race, what it feels like to win a marathon,and even dropped a few of his personal secrets to running success.
