DOE: ‘No widespread issues’ with ISTEP
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – After school systems complained about ISTEP being a mess this year, the Indiana Department of Education provided an update Monday on how the system was performing.
The ISTEP testing window opened last week and runs through May 15.
On Friday, 113,556 tests were completed. Through Friday, the total number of tests taken online was 305,443. Of those, less than 1 percent of test-takers saw an interruption, according to DOE officials.
DOE officials urge schools who experience problems to submit a report.
