Indy Eleven’s Nicht heads to MLS

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indy Eleven starting goalkeeper Kristian Nicht has been transferred to MLS’s Montreal Impact FC. That is effective immediately. The details of the deal were not released.

“It is our desire to be a player-friendly club, and we are honoring that by allowing Kristian to join Montreal at this time,” said Indy Eleven president and general manager Peter Wilt in a press release on Monday.  “This move will provide an incredible opportunity for Kristian, and everyone at Indy Eleven wishes him the best of luck during this tremendous moment in his career.”

During his time in Indianapolis, he’s been key in the Eleven’s success, starting every game. He had a league best 13 saves this season.
