Man sentenced to 50 years for 2013 murder
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – An Indianapolis man was sentenced Tuesday to 50 years in prison for a 2013 murder.
John Dugan pleaded guilty to stabbing 59-year-old Gary Prather to death in December of 2013.
Prather was found inside his apartment on the south side of Indianapolis.
Detectives say they linked Dugan to the crime based on forensic evidence they found at the scene.
