Men, women paint nails in support of Jenner
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – There’s a hashtag trending on social media: #PaintYourNailsForBruce.
It was inspired by a comment Bruce Jenner made during his 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer on Friday. Now people around the world are painting their nails and posting pictures on social media in support of him.
Jenner told Diane Sawyer he’s looking forward to being able to have nail polish on long enough that it actually chips off.
A radio station in Sydney started the trend. They encouraged men to join the hashtag campaign as a way to show support for Jenner.
The trend has received support not only from men, but also women. Some pictures even show groups of friends and couples painting their nails together.
