Warren Central parents alerted about school lockdown

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – According to Warren Central officials, Warren Central High School was on lockdown for a brief time late Tuesday morning.

In a statement, Dennis Jarrett, Director of Media and Community Relations explained a student who had been asked to stay off school property had returned.

An internal lockdown was put into place first, then an external lockdown was enacted as the Warren Police Department looked for the student.

After a sweep, officers determined the student had left campus.

The principal of the high school has sent notification via eConnect to all our families explaining the lockdown.
