It’s that time again! Time to celebrate food, family, and fun! Join us at the 6th Annual Culinary Collage to benefit Fletcher Place Community Center on Sunday, May 3rd, from 1:00 – 4:00pm at the Schwitzer Student Center, University of Indianapolis Campus. Sample unique culinary specialties from local restaurants, try your hand at getting some goodies in the silent auction or raffle, and get up close and personal with wildlife with Silly Safaris.
Local restaurants will be on hand to share their taste sensations, absolutely free! Attendees will sample tastes from 13 local eateries… for free! Participants include Kim’s Kake Kreations, Santorinis, La Margarita, Ella’s Frozen Yogurt, Pasquale’s, and many more! Tables will be overflowing with raffle prizes and big-ticket silent auction items. Some of the hottest prizes include a Pat McAfee autographed NFL jersey and a knock-your-socks-off Historic Fountain Square package that includes a night’s stay, a one-hour Lift Therapeutic Massage, and a gift certificate for Bluebeard’s restaurant.
No tickets necessary, a $10 Kroger Gift Card is all you need to get in the door! The Culinary College is Fletcher Place’s biggest fundraiser, helping to feed the center’s budget to serve the needy families in the Southeast side of Central Indy.
Fletcher Place Community Center was established in 1872 with a mission to provide needed services to families on the near southeast side of Indianapolis, including the Historic Fountain Square area. Fletcher Place works to break the cycle of poverty through immediate aid and ongoing care. The center provides a hot meal program and food pantry, along with free thrift store, educational and skill building programs for adults, and a preschool school program for children. Fletcher depends on its volunteers who provide over 11,000 hours of service each year.
