Olympic gold-medalist joins 500 Festival Kid’s Day as celebrity guest
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Olympic gold-medalist Shawn Johnson will be a celebrity guest at this year’s Chase 500 Festival Kid’s Day and Chase 500 Festival Rookie Run on Saturday.
The 500 Festival announced the news on Wednesday morning.
Johnson will hold a meet and greet from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. and from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. at the USA Gymnastics booth on Monument Circle. She will also help kick off the Chase 500 Festival Rookie Run.
The event is the largest free outdoor festival for children. It kicks off at 10 a.m. and goes until 2 p.m. on Monument Circle.
Carly Rae Jepsen will headline the 2015 Chase 500 Festival Kids’ Day.
