WISH-TV fires up the grill for Red Kettle Cook-Off
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The annual Salvation Army Red Kettle Cook-Off is once again taking over Georgia Street.
Fifteen radio and TV stations, including WISH-TV, are facing off in the Best Burger Contest.
Wally Bolinger, chef and owner of Wuzzlers and Red Lion Grog House, created WISH-TV’s entry – the Biscuits and Gravy Burger. It has cheddar cheese, bacon and an over-easy egg.
The cook-off lasts until 2 p.m. on the west block of Georgia Street.
WISH-TV has won the past two years and is going for a three-peat!
The $10 lunch includes the burger, a side and drink. For that $10, The Salvation Army will feed a family of four.
